Maia is a student at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague.

Her practice explores memory, language, and visual storytelling through editorial design, photography, and digital media. She is interested in creating thoughtful visual experiences that connect research with personal narratives. By combining research, image-making, and publication design, she explores the emotional relationships between people, objects, and places. Her work often develops through experimentation, resulting in projects that are both research-led and visually expressive.
